KSC / KWA System 7 (NS2) Buckings
KSC and KWA gas guns run the System 7 / NS2 chamber, which takes its own hop-up bucking rather than the Tokyo Marui-spec GBB one. The System 7 bucking has a different external shape (a top indentation for the hop pin and a flat bottom face) so a generic GBB pistol bucking is not a reliable drop-in. The same standard spans KSC and KWA gas pistols and the KWA gas SMGs (MP7, MP9, M11), which is why these parts are usually listed as "for KSC / KWA GBB" rather than by a single gun model.

Commonly confused: these do NOT interchange
- Gas Pistol (GBB) buckings System 7 is a different chamber to the Tokyo Marui-spec GBB pistol standard, so a generic GBB bucking is not a drop-in for a KSC or KWA gas gun.
- AEG buckings KWA also sells ELECTRIC guns (AEG, ERG, AEP). Those use AEG-standard buckings and are on the AEG page, not here. Only the gas guns are System 7.
- Gas Blowback Rifle (GBBR) buckings KWA gas rifles such as the LM4 are System 7 rather than the generic GBB / VSR pool most gas rifles use.
Proprietary & exception chambers
- What System 7 / NS2 actually is: System 7 (marketed as NS2 on newer KWA guns) is KSC and KWA own gas system. Its hop-up bucking is a distinct part with a top indentation for the hop adjustment pin and a flat bottom face, which is why it does not interchange with the Tokyo Marui-spec GBB bucking even though both are gas pistol parts. The stock part is commonly listed as E-010.
- Aftermarket options: Aftermarket System 7 buckings are made by Falcon, Angel Custom (the W-Type and V-Type HDS series), Maple Leaf (including their 80 degree parts sold specifically for KSC / KWA GBB), RA-Tech and A-Plus. When shopping, look for the listing to name KSC / KWA or System 7 explicitly.
- Retrofit kits use their own bucking: TNT and Maple Leaf sell complete chamber retrofit kits for KSC / KWA guns. Those kits ship a bucking cut for the kit chamber, not for the stock System 7 chamber, so a kit bucking and a stock bucking are not interchangeable. Buy the bucking that matches whichever chamber is actually fitted.
- KWA electric guns are not System 7: KWA and KSC also make electric guns (the AEG / ERG / VM4 / QRF / Ronin lines and the KSC M4A1 ERG). Those use AEG-standard buckings and appear on the AEG page. If a listing names AEG, ERG, AEP, VM4, QRF, Ronin or TK45, it is an electric part, not a System 7 one.

KSC / KWA System 7 bucking buying guide
Which of my guns is System 7?
Every KSC gas pistol and every KWA gas gun uses it: the KSC / KWA Glock-pattern and 1911-pattern pistols, the M9 / M93R family, the KWA MP7, MP9 and M11 gas SMGs, and the KWA LM4 gas rifle. If it is a KSC or KWA gun and it runs gas, assume System 7 unless a retrofit chamber has been installed.
Hardness (degree)
KSC and KWA gas guns typically chronograph in the 280 to 350 FPS range, so a 60 to 70 degree bucking is the common all-round choice, with softer parts for cold-shooting green gas guns and harder ones for hotter CO2 setups. Maple Leaf sell an 80 degree option for KSC / KWA specifically, which suits higher-output or heavy-BB builds.
What to check before you buy
Confirm the listing names KSC, KWA, System 7 or NS2. Do not substitute a Tokyo Marui-spec GBB bucking. If your gun has a TNT or Maple Leaf retrofit chamber, buy the bucking for that kit instead. KWA tolerances are tight, so expect to test-fit.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use a normal GBB pistol bucking in a KSC or KWA gas gun?
Not reliably. The System 7 / NS2 bucking has a different external shape to the Tokyo Marui-spec GBB bucking, including a top indentation for the hop pin and a flat bottom. Buy a bucking listed for KSC / KWA or System 7.
Do KWA gas SMGs use the same bucking as KWA gas pistols?
Yes. The KWA MP7, MP9 and M11 gas SMGs share the System 7 chamber standard with the KSC and KWA gas pistols, which is why aftermarket parts are usually listed for KSC / KWA GBB generally rather than per model.
What about KWA AEGs and ERGs?
Those are electric and use AEG-standard buckings, not System 7. Shop the AEG bucking standard for a KWA VM4, QRF, Ronin, ERG or TK45.
How many KSC / KWA System 7 buckings does Airsoft Upgrades track?
