A semi-automatic shotgun developed based on the mechanism of the AK Based on the mechanism of the AK, the Saiga-12 semi-automatic shotgun was developed for civilian use. The Saiga-12K, a variation of the Saiga-12 shotgun for law enforcement use, is the first model in the gas blowback shotgun series! A dedicated blowback engine was newly developed to achieve simultaneous firing of three shots and blowback when firing. In addition, by taking measurements of the real thing, the reproducibility of each part detail has been improved. Main Features Realizes powerful blowback The Saiga's exclusive blowback engine is equipped with a large piston of approximately 19 mm in diameter. The bolt operates in conjunction with firing, providing a powerful recoil shock. Realistic movable gimmick The Saiga's bolt handle can be operated to load the first round, and the bolt stops moving forward when it runs out of ammunition, just like the real thing. Also, the take-down (normal disassembly for maintenance) can be performed in a manner similar to the real thing. Auto-Stop System Switching When the magazine is empty, the auto-stop system detects that the magazine is out of ammunition and stops firing. Furthermore, by turning off the auto-stop cancel switch on the top of the magazine, the user can enjoy firing operation without any BB bullets in the magazine. Pursuing the reproduction of the external appearance The reproducibility of each part's shape has been improved by reflecting the data obtained from the measurements of the real thing. The receiver cover and selector lever are made of pressed steel, just like the real thing. Adjustable front sight The front sight can be adjusted up and down with a dedicated adjusting tool. Various optical sights can be mounted by attaching the optional "Sidelock Mount Rail for AK74" to the side rail equipped on the receiver.
