Nowadays, pistols both in the real steel and Airsoft world are more commonly seen outfitted with some kind of micro red dot optic, which makes sense as a bright red dot is noticeably faster to pick up than the standard iron sights of old. Yet RWA has designed a mounting solution that does not break the bank and is dead simple to install. The RWA 2011 / Hi Capa 5.1 Red Dot Plate is designed to mount directly onto the blowback unit of the pistol. Simply switch out the rear iron sight with the one from RWA, and you are basically good to go! The RWA red dot plate also comes with raised front and rear iron sights to allow the end-user to co-witness the dot and sight picture. The optic plate itself features lightening cuts to reduce unnecessary weight without compromising durability and toughness. The optic mounting plate set is CNC machined using high-quality 6061 Aluminum alloy and topped off with a durable anodized finish, balancing its lightweight attribute with rigidity and robustness. The RWA optic mounting plate is compatible with red dot optics that use the Trijicon RMR red dot footprint.
