LBX Tactical, a branch of the legendary London Bridge Trading Inc. (LBT), worked closely with tactical celebrity Chris Costa for the LBX MAP (Mission Adaptive Panel ) System and made the first LBX Armatus Slick Plate Carriers, which was revolutionary for the industry, a slick low profile plate carrier that carries the essentials without the bulk and companied with flexibility in tactical equipment options. The MAP system consists of plate carrier, assault panels, pocket panels, day pack, small assault packs and weapon retention kits. The moment it entered the market, LBX changed the whole landscape with innovation and practicality. The first LBX Armatus was an extreme low profile, minimalistic plate carrier that had two armor pockets, a plain cummmerbund, small front pocket for small items, a triple m4/ ar-15 magazine adaptive panel and velcro panels on both front and back for identification patches / swag. In the LBX Armatus 2.0 , yes it is an upgrade from the 1.0 that took opinions of the market and made it even better by beefing it up with new features. The moment you pick the new LBX Armatus 2.0 up, you will notice a few differences that are quite significant to the users, which would include the thickened shoulder pads for extra comfort and molle mesh rib cage cummerbund for extra breathability, these two combined keeps the carrier from being a burden for prolonged usage.
