The Sig P229 is a compact pistol based upon the design of the full-sized P226 model. WE have done a great job with this replica, with a realistic grey anodised slide and a contrasting black frame. The P229 model is notably more compact than the P226, with an overall length of 180mm. However it still retains it's chunky dimensions. Sports a 20mm accessory rail on the underside of the frame. Everything on this pistol is metal, bar the plastic grips with P229 markings embedded. For such a small pistol, it has an incredibly hard kick thanks to the heavy metal slide and stiffened recoil spring. Features a working de-cocking lever on the left side of the frame. Semi-automatic blowback operation. "9mm Para" is laser engraved into the ejection port cover. Full metal magazine holds 24 rounds Green gas is recommended for best performance. Adjustable hop-up is access by removing the barrel from the slide. Double action trigger like the real steel. Great kick and metal "clank" with every shot. Fully field stripable, just like the real steel, via the disassembly lever on the left side of the frame.
