The M733 is a modernized equivalent of the earlier Vietnam era XM177 or CAR-15 carbines, all derived from the larger M16A1. Predominantly used during the 1980s 1990s, a predecessor to the modern day M4, a favoured carbine of Delta Forces during that period. Its uses in film include "Blackhawk Down" and "Heat". This model is fully licensed by Colt through Cybergun and features accurate markings on the upper receiver magazine. Exceptional construction quality, feeling solid in hand with dense polymer used for the handguard stock with high grade metals for the receiver, barrel magazine. Aluminum and polymer handguard with polymer pistol grip that offers an excellent contoured grip. Stock is 2 position, fully closed or fully extended with anti slip textured butt pad. The magazine holds 30 BBs and is a heavy, full metal construction complete with markings plastic feed lips. Features bolt stop function dry fire mode. Magazines compatible with standard VFC M4 / AR-15 Series V3 Gas System. On standard 135PSI green gas, the rifle kicks incredibly hard, notably more than the Marui GBBR series, adding to the shooting experience. Adjustable hop is located by popping off the bottom panel of the polymer handguard, safely out of the way to avoid accidental adjustment. Selectable safe, semi and fully automatic fire modes.
