The Heckler Koch G36 is a polymer-framed semi-automatic and automatic rifle which makes it really light weight and easy to manipulate around with the folding stock. The G36 is a selective-fire 5.56 mm assault rifle, firing from a closed rotary bolt. It has a conventional layout and a modular component design. Common to all variants of the G36 family are: the receiver and buttstock assembly, bolt carrier group with bolt and the return mechanism and guide rod. With full licensing from H K, Umarex proudly adorns this weapon with all the proper markings. The fire and safety selector is ambidextrous and has controls on both sides of the receiver which took upon the design of the original G3 selector. Selector settings are described with letters: "S"safe ("Sicher"), "E" semi-automatic fire ("Einzelfeuer") and "F" continuous fire ("Feuersto?"). The stock too is multi functional; its ability to fold to the side, shortening the overall length of the weapon for use in tight areas. The rifle can also still fire with the stock collapsed. Also, it incorporates holes where assembly pins can be placed during weapon cleaning and maintenance. For those who never heard of Umarex (VFC), they are known to make realistic and high performing airsoft guns in the airsoft market. The gas blowback technology is more than just reliable and crisp, the cycle is tighter than a drum with each shot gliding down the same line as the one before. Pulling the charging handle is a breeze, and holding this in your hand just feels so comfortable. All the modifications you can make are very simple. The hop up can be adjusted like every other airsoft ar which is very simple to do. Lets not forget about the flip up rear and front sights which sit nicely at the top rail without being noticed too much. What makes this different to the G36C is that this one is a carbine variant with a shorter barrel (fitted with an open-type flash suppressor) and a shorter forend, which includes a bottom rail that can be used
