The KWA LM4 Series gas airsoft rifles were once one of the best-performing gas airsoft M4 / AR-15 platforms, but fell out of favor with the introduction of newer models. However, KWA has now released an updated version of the LM4, the LM4D, which is marketed as a training tool. Externally, the LM4D has a 10.5-inch CQB style barrel length and a KWA TRP 9.5-inch Picatinny Rail handguard with Picatinny rails on all sides for attaching accessories. The barrel is 14mm CCW threaded for attaching muzzle devices. The LM4D also has ambidextrous fire control and charging handle and comes with PTS EPG pistol grips and Enhanced Polymer Back-Up Iron Sights. Internally, the LM4D features a rotary dial Hop-Up adjustment, which can be accessed without a specific tool. The LM4D is compatible with older KWA LM4 series gas airsoft magazines and has strong recoil impulses, making it a good choice for those who want a training tool or a reputable, high-performing M4 / AR-15 style gas airsoft rifle.
