This is the A3 variant of the L85 ETU, The L85 A3 is the latest model in the UK's L85 series of military rifles, featuring a distinctive bullpup design. As an upgraded version of the L85 A2, the L85 A3 strengthens the rifle's structure, enhancing its durability and reliability. Features an aluminum M-LOK handguard with monolithic picatinny rails with a beautiful stamped metal receiver in a two tone colourway. This latest generation continues to be a mirror image of the real thing, both in terms of dimensions and weight. Made primarily from metal, this rifle has a tremendous weight despite its relatively compact size, coming in at over 3kg with no battery installed. The ever-popular electronic trigger unit, or ETU, which has been utilised in much of G G's lineup has made its way to the L85 range, which allows for a super fast trigger response. The entire upper and lower receiver are made from metal, which contributes to the rifles significant weight and realistic feel. The handguard, pistol grip and cheekpiece are all high quality ABS, finished in a medium/dark olive drab colour. Battery is installed in the grip. 510mm length inner barrel. 8 stage adjustable pre cocking. Empty magazine power cut off feature - press bolt catch on inserting new magazine to begin shooting again. Realistic bolt operation. Includes a Mid Cap 90rd magazine which features G Gs protruding follower design. Takes standard M4/M16 magazines from most manufacturers. Other metal parts include the barrel, flash hider, handguard magazine well and release, selector, charging handle and bolt cover.
