Essentially everything is metal, bar the real wood handguard stock and textured polymer grip, just like the real steel. This is a beefy replica, coming in at 3.58kg. To access the battery compartment, you press in on the upper receiver release at the upper rear of the replica and hinge the entire top cover upwards. This exposes the Deans connector.
